Regina Binkowski Casserino, 101, passed away peacefully at home on December 11th. Her family was her greatest joy, and she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit, wisdom, and unwavering love.
She was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired from Liberty Bank after 23 years of service.
Regina enjoyed Bingo, Card games, the casino, scratch tickets and weekly visits to Citi Hair.
She was born on December 25th, 1923 in Middletown, CT to Jadwiga and Tadeusz Binkowski. She is survived by her children Paula Correll, Rosalie ( James) Walsh, Lawrence and Joseph Casserino. Grandchildren: Brian and David Correll, Karen Comstock, Erin and Kevin Walsh, Orlando and Michael Casserino and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her children, Angela and Orlando Casserino Jr., former husband Orlando Casserino and son-in law Jack Correll. Brothers: Sigmund, Charles, Harry and Philip Binkowski. Sisters: Mary Binkowski, Helen Galya, Genevieve Delaney, Gertrude Salamone and Bernice Guarino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Church, Middletown. Friends may call at the Lastrina Family Funeral Home, 491 High St., Middletown on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield.
