Leonard T. Higgins, 92, of Middletown, husband of the late Patricia A. (Chagnon) Higgins, passed away April 30th, surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 1st, 1933 to the late Michael J. and Vera M. (Joslin) Higgins, Sr., Leonard was a lifelong dairy farmer of Higgins Farm Inc., which he operated with his late brother Arthur J. Higgins, Sr. and other family members.
He is survived by his children: Richard Higgins and wife Brittany Pianka; Ruth Robinson and husband Samuel; Mariellen Schomaker and husband Stephen; Joseph Higgins and wife Wendy; and John Higgins; eight grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Marie Higgins, brother Michael J. Higgins, Jr. and brother Arthur J. Higgins, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 5th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, Middletown. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Middletown.
