Ann Margaret (Madeux) Moscaritolo, age 83, of Middletown, CT passed away peacefully after a long illness at Bristol Hospital on April 16th. Ann was born in Torrington, CT in 1941 and attended Torrington High School and then received a medical secretarial degree from Post Junior College. She worked in various offices and then as a waitress for Alfredo’s in Middletown where she made lifelong friends. She enjoyed meeting and talking to her customers at the restaurant, where she was an icon. Customers would specifically come to see and be waited on by Ann. She also liked to travel to Florida to visit with friends and cruise to tropical locations . Most importantly her love extended across generations to include her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ann was predeceased by her parents: H. Raymond Madeux and Margaret (Fogarty) Madeux, of Torrington and her son, Paul Moscaritolo of Berlin, whose memory remained close to her heart throughout her life. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Moscaritolo of East Berlin and Annette Vinci of Higganum. She is also survived by her brothers, George Madeux, Raymond and Gloria Madeux, and Stephen and Elizabeth Madeux. She has many nieces and nephews, 11 grandchildren, 1 granddaughter-in-law, and 6 great grandchildren. Ann’s legacy lives through the family she nurtured and the lives she touched. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd in St. Pius X Church, Middletown at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Thomaston, CT. Friends may call at the Lastrina Family Funeral Home, 491 High St., Middletown on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
